It looks good and runs quietly

I didn't buy it for a laptop but to cool some AV components in the case, mainly the receiver. Yes, that's the VCR on the 4K Blu-ray player in the attached photo, and sorry for the scratches, they're not visible with the door closed. I loved the idea of an LED strip to spice it up and this piece definitely didn't disappoint. It's bright and clear, and there are many different lighting modes to choose from. And it's the perfect size for this use case. One thing that surprised me a bit was the…

Looks good and works well.

The last external laptop cooler I used was over 10 years ago for a laptop that overheated so much it broke/die. The laptop I am currently using does not have this problem. but when my wife plays it: I listen to the fans at full blast for a long time. I bought this to keep my laptop cool and avoid possible hardware damage to my laptop. That's a nice cooler. My wife loves RGB (and who doesn't, lol). It's lightweight but doesn't feel fragile. It holds a 17.3 inch laptop without slipping. Requires…

Hey this is really cute

99% of the time it probably doesn't matter if you use this thing or not but it will always have a sexy RGB. But if you need to install some stuff on a stationery laptop and it's sitting on a wooden table blocking access to your laptop, that laptop thing is going to be colder than the ice dagger your ex stuck in your heart. I had FFS Zoo Tycoon running in the background while installing Sims 3 on GDMF ACER and I wasn't paying attention because I thought it's crazy, it's ok and it looks like LOL…

  • One year trial
Cons
  • Only available in white

RGB laptop stand first, then laptop cooler (if equipped)

Moves a disappointing amount of air for the size of the fan. I wish the watch face was bigger because the fan isn't that loud even at max volume and I've used large Thermaltake fans in the past so I know they can run faster. Even if the fan spins faster, the airflow is not very directed. That means it's better at pushing air to the sides of my (15.6-inch laptop) and cooling my palms while typing than it is at cooling the hot i7 7700HQ in the MSI laptop I use it with, although the Laptop has…

It's too big for cooling pads

Pros: It does what it promises. It is ideal as a cooling pad. The RGB lighting is quite bright and looks good. Cons: It's huge. I mean really, really HUGE. A 13" or 14" diagonal laptop will look stupid on it. It's great for the 17-inch gaming monster that's probably its target audience. There's no real way to change the RGB pattern, what you see is what you get. It uses USB power from your laptop, which is handy at first as there's no longer a wall wart, but when you're short on slots it needs…

it's almost 2019 and another company that can't handle usb 3.0

first let me say that this is a really high quality cooler which is a rarity these days. Stable and the legs don't really break under the weight of my laptop. I would give this thing 5 stars even if the color is a bit odd with the buttons and not the software. The real thing I disagree with is that it occupies two USB 2.0 ports. My Alienware has two USB 3.0 ports, one on each side of the laptop, and two USB 3.1 C ports, one on the side and one on the back. It just wasn't possible to use the…

Doesn't cool enough for my gaming laptop

this cooling pad so I don't know how it is compared to others. It just doesn't cool enough. My CPU temp still hits 95C. I could get the same or better cooling by propping my laptop up and installing a $10 desktop fan underneath. Much cheaper solution. At least it's better than not having a cooling pad on the table with the laptop. I only feel the slightest amount of air escaping from the cooling pad at the highest level. I thought it should be more powerful to cool my laptop. Maybe my laptop is

Pros
  • Adjust the backlight and fan speed easily: Easily control the backlight and fan with the integrated control panel, including light mode button, color mode button and fan speed adjuster
Cons
  • Security

Awesome looking cooling pad for the price

Awesome looking cooling pad for the price. This is the first cooling pad I bought for my Alienware 15 R4 (2018) laptop. Anyone with an Alienware laptop knows it runs on the hotter side. I leave the fan on, which is still very quiet, so quiet I'm worried it's going to stop working. Since this is my first laptop fan, I'm wondering if its performance is too weak during use. I don't have anything to compare either, so it may work fine. it only blows air slightly, which can be normal for these…

Pros
  • Excellent ventilation: Steel mesh surface with integrated 200mm silent fan for optimal airflow and high heat dissipation

  • Definitely a bad product
