I have competed and have worn both latex and fabric caps in the past. Spandex hats are much more comfortable than rubber latex or silicone, which can pull on your hair, although they are more waterproof. The Firesara Lycra swim cap is easy to put on and take off, won't pull or rip your hair, and won't squeeze your head while swimming. It's long enough to slip over your ears and doesn't tangle too much with earbuds. I have shoulder length hair and it falls slightly over my hair! Overall this is a very good swim cap and I love the blue color!
