Matches my collapsible harness very well. Ideal for draining pasta or vegetables from a simmer pot. I feel the rubber softens a little under hot water, but the contents are safe and healthy. Do not drain small foods such as grains/beans etc like orzo, rice, barley, quinoa, lentils, peas, red beans etc as this colander has large drain holes. The holes are actually angled/tapered, allowing small items to slide right through. Luckily I drained some of the basmati rice and half ended up in the sink. This is the only downside of this sieve. But I like this for camping use as storage space is key.
