I have seen many videos about spiked collars on youtube. Every video I've seen of dog trainers recommended this Herm Sprenger brand collar for the craftsmanship and the quality of this product. It's also easy to put on once you get the hang of it. They even stressed that the rounded ends of the tines won't hurt your dog. I was a bit skeptical that this would work for me as professional dog trainers have demonstrated. I wanted to know exactly how to train my 40 lb dog with this collar. She pulled on the leash so much that my husband and I cut our walks short. This collar is amazing! I put it on her as instructed in the videos I watched. Here we go. I only adjusted the collar slightly and couldn't believe how my dog reacted to this collar. It didn't hurt at all. She moved slightly into the heel position. A few light touches along the way to let her know what I want and off I went for a super relaxing ride. Many thanks to Herm Springer for giving us and our dog the right exercise equipment to walk our dog safely and comfortably. Many thanks to Revain for getting it to us a day before the expected delivery date. I don't usually do a lot of reviews, but I want people to know how this pen has changed our walking routine.
