Best collar for training my companion dog

This collar is already changing our running experience! I have a service dog that I train and I avoid using any spike collars with her because I thought it might hurt my girl. However, after doing a lot of research and listening to trainers on how to properly use a collar to learn more about them, I settled on the Herm Springer. I say this color is absolutely amazing. My dog can now respond to me even when in a high distraction zone. I wanted to post a short video above to show you the…

Great tool. Learn the correct application before use!

This product changed our lives! We have big powerful dogs and we couldn't control them. now we go for a leisurely walk and my dogs are looking forward to seeing you again! Let me stress. They must be trained in their use, otherwise you may hurt your dear friend! We have watched many YouTube videos on how to lift a dog and how to use it safely. It is very important! We then tested indoors with no distractions. We then found that our dogs are too excited to go outside at the moment so we use…

Authentic Herm Sprenger

Bought from 101 Outlet and I am pleased to report that they sell genuine Herm Sprenger stainless steel items. I read that people get fakes. I just wish they listed who they ordered from in the review to help others avoid them. The collar itself does what a collar with teeth is supposed to do. The complete difference between day and night walking my German Shepherd. This is not a torture device, my pup is very happy when he sees that I get this collar because he knows it's time for his walk in…

Mixed Experience Best for Dogs

I really wish I could give this collar a much higher rating. The material quality, the design and the functionality seem to be excellent. My problem was finding the right size. I carefully measured my dog but encountered a problem when I started to choose the size. The little one was too small, but the middle one was too big. I ordered a medium and had to remove three or four links. However, the collar seems to hang too loosely around my dog's neck and does not stay high on the neck behind the…

A great way to gently train a large, overzealous Boxer puppy.

Yes, I was one of the skeptics. My boxer girl is my baby but she gets too energetic when we go for a walk and she yanked my hand out of the joint. I had to put an end to this as I am disabled and she is 52 pounds. Before you say it. Yes, I've been working on her since she was tiny, about 12 pounds. Walked on the leash, tried the harness without tension. This is a joke! I thought, well, I'll wait until she's grown up a bit and learned her words. She is very smart and knows many words. She is 16…

I was amazed at the difference!

I have seen many videos about spiked collars on youtube. Every video I've seen of dog trainers recommended this Herm Sprenger brand collar for the craftsmanship and the quality of this product. It's also easy to put on once you get the hang of it. They even stressed that the rounded ends of the tines won't hurt your dog. I was a bit skeptical that this would work for me as professional dog trainers have demonstrated. I wanted to know exactly how to train my 40 lb dog with this collar. She…

Finally my puppy is walking well.

So I have a very average sized restless puppy. Before I bought this collar I did some research on how to use the collar properly, YouTube: Upstate Canine Academy and Fenrir are great resources. Note: This should be a short-term instrument. Don't leave this collar on your dog, don't let him walk on the leash. My breed is a Red Heeler and an Australian Shepherd. He trembles when we go for a walk and all he has to do is see and smell everything and he's scared of everything. Part of both of these…
