UPDATE 2: The company replaced the old model and the new one works at traffic lights - UPDATE: There is a big delay before the power turns on at the traffic light and it's too cumbersome for me, I'll look for other options ( I heard that Volspeed 3 has no lag but it doesn't ship to the US) - My bike is a 2016 Haibike XDURO Cross RC with a Gen2 Performance Line CX motor and the latest firmware from a local shop (July 2020). on the side but the chip rattled slightly so: 1. Chip repackaged in the location indicated in the photo 2. Electrical tape used for gluing/padding 3. Duct tape and chip tipped down from possible water drops. The cover is pressed against the wires and main chip so it now looks much stronger and less hacky. Either way, it's expensive, but it's probably the most important thing to me. I hit 26mph just to make sure it worked and it would be nice to be able to keep up with traffic and cruise down the main street instead of worrying about people opening their doors. I'm also planning to install a 22-tooth rear sprocket and a Miranda guard/lock ring. My bike is very heavy and I think good brakes are essential.
