Review on MQ2V MagicMount Magnetic Qi Certified Smartphone by Johnny Black

This mount/wireless charger is nice and does the job, but is quite large compared to mounts without a charger. The fit in my round Toyota Tacoma air vent is adequate but could be better. This is partly due to Toyota's vent design, which is obviously not a Scosche issue. Charging seems good, but I haven't needed a lot of charging yet when using it. You must be careful to place it very close to the center of the phone. I used plates attached to the outside of the Galaxy S8 case. There are two small plates mounted just below the camera opening and closer to the ground. I'm not thrilled to have these things on the outside of my phone/case but didn't want to stick anything on my beautiful S8 as it would affect resale value. I sell my phones when I get a new one and take great pride in keeping it pristine. The supplied cable guides are useless because the supplied cable does not stay in the guide. I will most likely buy a shorter cable anyway.
