I find it a bit strange that towels have to be shaken out and washed before use. If you're looking to compete with microfiber towels, this isn't the best place to start. Unfortunately, when I inspected the towels, they are plush and have a "crunchy" tactile aspect. In contrast to other soft tissues, the pile of the tissue has a greater rigidity. Hopefully it will soften with use. Yes, I noticed some loose fibers and followed the directions to wash before use. This raises another problem. No washing instructions or care label. So I shook them out and hand washed them in the sink. And given the mention of loose fibers and also that it's made of wood fibers, I don't think I'm tempted to do the first wash in the washing machine. Pictures are attached to show the real pictures of these wood fiber towels. I'm still undecided on these towels. More work than expected was required before first use. The missing care label is annoying. It's a wood fiber, not a microfiber, so I wouldn't recommend using it on valuable surfaces (e.g. phones, tablets, laptops, TVs). Based on these concerns and experiences, this wood fiber towel set is rated from 3.5 to 3.75 stars. . After some testing and extended use I will update this review/review when warranted.
