Review on Intel Core i7-10700KF 8-Core Desktop Processor - Unlocked, LGA1200, up to 5.1 GHz, 125W without Processor Graphics. by Micha Spodymek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

I have two computers, one standardly I keep on AMD, the other on Intel. I switched from i5-6600K + z170 to i7-10700kf + z490, to be honest, I didn’t see a gap (although according to tests, yes, everything is much more fun). Is it worth it to buy after the release of the 11th generation, I’m not sure, at the time of my purchase the price difference was very noticeable, now it’s around 15%

Pros
  • Intel is still stable and, as a result of the price war, is even slightly cheaper than AMD 5800X
Cons
  • The stone is hot and eternal 14nM process technology, as it appeared in the 6th generation, and even survived until the next 11th. A very short socket LGA1200 only for the 10th and 11th generation. Due to the real TDP, even in a regular overlock it flies over 140W and good air cooling simply cannot cope with good thermal paste. Incl. if you want to not only drive it, but simply use it 100% regularly without at least a 2-section dropsy, no where.
