I wanted to get my shoes out of these hanging bag items because that way they took up valuable space. After reading the reviews I chose this one because it has more storage space and is much stronger than other similar ones. Took me about 15 minutes to assemble and it fits in all my shoes (boots are stored elsewhere). I wear size 9M shoes and had no problem fitting them onto the steps. The floor is heavy — 3-5 pounds I think — so when assembled and loaded with shoes, it's stable and doesn't tip or wobble as I spin the carousels to find the pair of shoes I want . Very good buy for $$. TO UPDATE. All my COVID purchases left me a lot of new shoes so I ordered a second one. Still a good price but this one isn't as well made as the first. There are some weird black spots along the "chrome" base that look like spots of paint or something. It's in the closet and no one sees it but me so I won't be returning it, just a warning to those of you who are a bit pickier than me.
