Thin ring on stands

Bought at the end of August. It is now November and the ring itself is very thin. The ring doesn't stay in place so the phone can't stand, it just falls to whatever surface it's on. I'm trying to search the internet for some sort of rubber to attach the ring in hopes it will provide traction on a surface the phone can stand on. I wouldn't recommend this phone ring unless you're willing to replace it after a few months. Phone glue is good, but not practical or useful if the ring is fragile.
