Excellent ruler. I bought this ruler after using one of the cheaper stainless steel rulers without a non-slip backing. Cheaper rules caused multiple injuries (due to sharp edges and lack of grip). This rule is ideal for industrial design students. The cutting edge makes it easy to use the Xacto knife without damaging the knife or ruler. The ruler has an outline that also makes it easy to grip. To be honest, this line is probably one of the most expensive lines I've bought, but it really is the best. I think you get what you pay for - I just want it to fit a poor student's budget.
