I'm glad to know there is a product that protects my fingers!

After cutting my finger and a nerve and getting two stitches in my nail, I bought this ruler at the recommendation of a research associate at my architecture studio. Pleasantly surprised by the lack of movement and the confidence this ruler gives me when working with foam, bristol board, museum board and styrofoam models. Works great, corresponds to product description and picture.

The best line I've ever had!

Excellent ruler. I bought this ruler after using one of the cheaper stainless steel rulers without a non-slip backing. Cheaper rules caused multiple injuries (due to sharp edges and lack of grip). This rule is ideal for industrial design students. The cutting edge makes it easy to use the Xacto knife without damaging the knife or ruler. The ruler has an outline that also makes it easy to grip. Both the 30 " and 18 " steel-edged AlumiCutter Ruler failed within a month!

The 30 inch ruler fell off the desk a bit to be honest. It may have come from a height of 38 inches or so onto a concert covered carpet tile rather than directly onto a hard surface. concert floor. How upset I was when they noticed an insert popping out of my brand new $20 line. I figured, well, this shouldn't have happened, but it got postponed.
