Highly recommended! I bought this car based on the reviews and the fact that I didn't want to fret over the need (I suffer from old eccentricity!) to have to use a smartphone or other foreign device. I wanted a reliable, simple and clear device that can be used immediately. So far, I am very satisfied. Press the set button and choose the temperature. Press again and choose the time. It was quiet and precise. The temperature changed just 0.2 degrees Fahrenheit in a 90-minute test run. It was easy to use and gave excellent results. My first attempt was to cook lamb chops. I turned the machine on to 130 for 2 hours, placed the seasoned chops in a vacuum bag and after 1 1/2 hours I took out the chops, dried them thoroughly and fried them in a very hot cast iron skillet. Perfection! I have two minor complaints: First, the clamp is awkward to use, especially on a rimmed pan. Second, the instructions could have been written better. I'm still trying to figure out user preferences. Those quibbles aside, the car appears to be a winner. Better management would have earned it five stars. Only time will tell about its reliability.
