I bought this for my husband as he travels a lot and mentioned he likes the camps he works in or the impromptu desk to work on his laptop when he is at work. I got a lot of praise for that. He loves to. He says he can adjust it to the perfect height at the airport and at work. He had trouble getting through security. He had to open it and show TSA what it was and how it worked, but he got through just fine. It was a bit heavy when I picked it up, but I don't think it bothered him.
