Review on ⚙️ KYB 343459 Excel-G Gas Shock: Ultimate Performance and Sleek Black Design by John Chembola

Nice addition to my Chevy Sonic

I replaced the rear shocks on my 2014 Chevy Sonic LTZ with these Kyb shocks. The car had 54,000 miles on it and I noticed two things that happened to the handling prior to the replacement. The car dived under moderate and hard braking. In heavy traffic, the see-saw effect was uncomfortable, and under hard braking, the rear lightened and felt unsteady. The second issue was high-speed damping and rebound. A pothole or even a gap in the concrete section of the highway hits hard and makes the ride less comfortable. These kyb dampers solved these problems perfectly. When braking, the car stays at the same level. At 90 mph, the suspension keeps the tires in contact with the road. The only downside is that freeway gaps produce an almost rhythmic, springy bounce. I can't say for certain that this isn't a blow to the source imbalance, but prior to the addition of these kibs there weren't any. All in all I am happy with the purchase and would buy them again.
