Luckily I was home but reading the reviews the word 'fitting' was an understatement! I tried tapping on it like many said and ended up breaking the rod on the ignition switch. Now it is in the steering wheel lock position and the ignition does not work. If so, don't buy. Don't force anything! If you think you can do it, don't try anyway! This piece cost me $220. all for a little extra look. Don't buy if you have a 2015 Street Glide!
