I bought this for when we dock at our RV to use the (many) 120V AC outlets in an RV with very few 12V DC outlets Getting power because I thought it will be easier than replacing the wiring of the entire camper. It's only 1000 watts so we don't use it for an air conditioner or even a microwave, but it's good for many other devices that draw relatively little power but require AC power, like our electronics. One of the most important devices is our phone call booster. I've only used it a couple of times and so far it's working well.
