I originally bought this board for myself, I'm a 5ft 1in female with some riding experience. When the board arrived, my kids (ages 6 and 9) took over and were hooked on learning to skateboard. Neither of them have skateboarded before, but both are very athletic and well balanced. With the Eggboard they learned to skateboard in one day. They had so much fun skating that I ended up buying a second eggboard so they could skate together. I have also used the eggboard to teach my 6ft 200lb husband to skate. He had no prior skateboarding experience and was able to learn it in a day. Now we all skate and love long trips. Pros: - Smooth ride. on different surfaces - Big wheels make it easier to negotiate cracks - Easy to turn for my kids and large turning radius allows for tight turns - Portable! You can take this board anywhere. - Learn to ride this board and you can ride any board. Cons: - It's a small L, so you need a good balance. It's easier for small feet, but if a man in a size 12 shoe can do it, then anyone can. - The trucks are wide which makes this board stable but during training you can put your foot too close and hit them. My kids adjusted quickly after a few setbacks.
