I have a Bell Custom 500 helmet and wanted to add goggles for those days when I ride where it's too warm for a full face helmet but not that warm that I just want to wear glasses. I've also splattered enough dragonflies on my face to know that it's nice to have something between me and the bugs as you fly down the road. The fit and finish of the face shield was adequate. There were no defects or stains on the plexiglass and visibility was fantastic. If you buy this or any other face shield, make sure it's securely locked in place before you change lanes on the freeway. Even then there is no guarantee. Luckily I had a pair of sunglasses with me in case something happened and it did. I looked over my shoulder as I pulled onto the highway and the visor flew off my helmet. Not sure if I'll buy another to replace and stick with a full face helmet or 3/4 with sunglasses.
