The socket is oval, not round.

Very thin metal, almost invisible welds/spot welds, socket head cap screws and locknuts should hold them well. These pieces are OVAL on the output side. Not a single photo looking directly at the exit to make it absolutely clear. I brought them on my ride, but haven't "married" them yet. My sister-in-law drives a Honda, they are probably more suitable for her car than for my truck.
