We use it in the cockpit of a Ford F250 for two large German Shepherds (total weight about 170 pounds). One of the dogs is quite old and cannot balance in the back seat by himself. This back seat bridge made it easy to take both dogs on a 700 mile trip! Dogs can share the back seat of the truck, standing or lying down. We still have access to footwells and seat storage. When we checked in our minivan I thought it would be very difficult to get seats for both dogs but this rear seat bridge completely eliminated that problem! Another benefit is that *most* dog hair and dirt stays on the bridge and NOT on the upholstery. I say most of this because two German "shedders" produce more hair than any automotive product can handle. ;) I can highly recommend this rear axle.
