I have used this 400 watt amplifier to power 4 marine speakers on a 21 foot inboard/outboard. Now I can CLEARLY hear my speakers above the engine at full throttle. It was easy to install (do it yourself). The instructions are easy to follow and provide a basic understanding of how speakers/amplifiers work. I recommend using high quality marine/audio cables for best results. I used regular RCA cable that you can buy at any electronics store and I was getting ground feedback/noise. I replaced the regular RCA cables with JBL Marine RCA cables which eliminated the feedback.
