I saw no point in pouring "some milk" onto the egg as the instructions suggested. Eventually I stopped beating the egg even slightly and reduced the cooking time to 25 seconds to get a soft, slightly runny yolk. To pair it with cheese and Canadian bacon, we boil the eggs for 35 seconds. My advice is to experiment with the stovetop and microwave. This is a practical kitchen accessory.
