Very very practical

Very practical accessory for making egg slices. I just oil it so the egg doesn't stick to the plastic. Throw in an egg, mix well with salt and pepper, microwave for up to 1 minute and 40 seconds on 50% microwave power and I have a nice and fluffy egg for my muffin.

Endless eggs on small appliances

I've been using this clamshell egg cooker at a coffee shop for 7 years. I would say I microwave about 50 eggs EVERY DAY, 7 days a week. These three packages are a good deal. At this rate they serve about a year and a half while retaining their non-storage characteristics and generally about 3 years. So forever for the normal person who doesn't microwave eggs all day. Tip: Use real eggs, cream or milk and mix them with a little lemon juice before pouring over them so that they don't brown in the

Versatile when you work with it

The first two times it was used the egg stuck a little. But spraying the plate with a release spray made the eggs slide out perfectly and made cleaning easier. I saw no point in pouring "some milk" onto the egg as the instructions suggested. Eventually I stopped beating the egg even slightly and reduced the cooking time to 25 seconds to get a soft, slightly runny yolk. To pair it with cheese and Canadian bacon, we boil the eggs for 35 seconds. My advice is to experiment with the stovetop and…

Great little plates!

I've been using one of these for years and LOVE it! We both work from home now, we had to get another one so we could cook two cupcake eggs at once (luxury expense!). I couldn't pass up the price for 3 packs. Other reviews said they didn't come with instructions received today in full packaging with instructions and pictures for your enjoyment. I've found that cooking time depends on the power of the microwave and personal preference for doneness. An egg with TBS milk and 1/4 tsp butter for 1…

Handy big little pressure cooker for eggs

Handy thing for the kitchen. It takes a few tries to get the eggs right, but overall I'm happy with it. Okay, a few months later it turned me into a nutty egg sandwich. First spray on some vegetable oil, then add the egg, preferably whisking with a fork. Then I like some chopped onion, some oregano, garlic salt, mbe pepper. Then a few pieces of bacon or ham, pre-cut from the produce. Cook in a 1100W microwave on setting 7 for 1 minute and 10 seconds. So boil an egg first, then add 2 slices of…

The best microwave version I have ever used.

I bought three different egg cookers to try because all the reviews were different. This one is the best. Easy to use and clean. I lightly cover the inside top and bottom with half a paper towel. Boil an egg in 55 seconds in a 1000W microwave. After removing the egg, I use the other half of the towel to wipe up any leftover eggs in the oven. Disassemble and put away the next morning. Everything else was a hassle to cook, use and clean. You need to find the best egg cooking mode. I found that…

Great for baking egg muffins!

I love this egg cooker it makes my morning life so much better. I bought mine in December 2020 and have been making Sausage Egg Cheese Muffins almost every morning since. I crack an egg in a speckled bowl and add some half and half, then stir with a plastic fork. (A metal fork works too, but I'm afraid of scratching the plastic surface.) Microwave on high for a minute and I have the perfect egg patty! It's slightly larger than an English muffin, but that's a trivial issue considering I eat a…

It's better than you think!

I love poached eggs. But not within a week. Of these theses at home, "Egg Muffins” are excellent. I give them to young parents who need to save time by improving their parenting/pairing skills. I also give them to bachelors and friends who are serious about nutrition. WARNING: BURN your cupcakes BEFORE microwaving FRESH eggs (ie not a week old)! Because the eggs are done when the toast is done! Then vary the taste with different types of cheese, spices or even jellies. Don't forget to drizzle…

A little more than I expected.

I make egg and muffin sandwiches and have microwave egg cookers, but the shapes are rounded at the bottom. So when the sandwiches are brought together, the top of the muffin will slide off. I was looking for a flat egg cooker. This egg cooker meets those requirements but is larger in diameter than any English muffin. It was made to hold two scrambled eggs with toppings like peppers and onions. It's a bit big for an egg, and boiled eggs are bigger than a muffin. It also makes the finished…
