This is a very durable collar that works well for controlling large dogs. I bought a 26" Bullmastiff collar and had to upgrade to a 30" collar so the collar could slip a bit to correct. A 26 inch collar will fit, but will always fit snugly around the dog's neck. Measure the thickest part of the dog's neck. Usually just behind the skull and add at least 2 inches to allow for collar length to correct. If in doubt, choose a larger size.
