shit! That's what came to mind as soon as I turned this thing on, right after installing it. My old 45 amp converter barely gave 12 volts. When I had my old one, every time I turned on the light, water pump or whatever at 12 volts, I saw the light getting dimmer and dimmer. Showering was like in a disco because of the strobe effect. Anyway, after turning this baby on, my ENTIRE 12 volt system works as it should. I can turn on any lightbulb, start the furnace, turn on the drainpipes and even turn on my 10" subwoofer with a 300w Alpine amp without a single noticeable change in a lightbulb. Everything is bright and my headlights don't work. The subwoofer no longer pulses with the bass. Now it's new and works great. If it lasts at least 5 years I'm happy. If it lasts me 10 years, I'll be pleasantly satisfied.
