TL:DR chair looks great and comfortable enough but mine arrived broken, won't raise or lower and cannot be replaced. Irritated. The chair looks amazing and I was happy to bring it into my space as a customer makeup chair! Installation was pretty easy: 4 screws and just place the chair on the stand. He sat down in a chair and squeezed the raise/lower handle. Nothing has happened. I disassembled the chair and found that the button inside the stand is a little out of order. I was able to activate it by pressing the button (not a seat) with a flat piece of wood, so it's not the hydrolic (stand) but the handle. The handle does not come into contact with the button when attached. When I tried to start a replacement my only options were a refund or store credit for other items (not chairs). No replacement. Why? I was looking for the perfect vanity chair for my space and this one fits perfectly. It just doesn't go up and down. So I would appreciate a replacement rather than a refund.
