Review on Fully Modular 80+ Gold PSU AGT850 Power Supply By ARESGAME - 850W by Jamal Sandridge

Spec. was good and the price was reasonable so I purchased the PSU.Delivered quickly and the box is fancy.All cables and instructions were clear.I was only concerned about the PSU Unit itself.I had many PSU incidents in the past with sparked, burnt, no-response, burning the HDD controller circuits, etc so this one I was again a very cautious plug-in the unit to the wall power source.Included tester rotated the fan so I was relieved and connected all PC components.What I have found is that in contrast to the box and other fancy packaging the built quality is bad.All connector points are tight or small you must use force to plug them in. After about 30 min just plug all cables turn on the I/O switch then all lights were on.After 10 sec. it went dead. Tried turning on the switch again the same thing. 3 yrs old semi-modular 650 still works but this new AGT850 failed. Thanks to ebay the return process was a breeze.I should have purchased a name brand. Lesson learned.
