Bought 2 of these BP-9060's to add to my system. I unpacked both and set them up and at first everything was great and sounded great. BUT when the speakers went into standby mode and the internal amplifier was turned off, both speakers made a loud bang, around 70 decibels! I tried to see if it was me but no, I tested them for the next 3 hours and no matter what I did they made the same loud click as they went to sleep. Heck, on the last try I didn't even plug in the speaker wire, just plugged it into an outlet and the same thing, a loud bang when I go to standby. I called Definitive Technology and they said the amps were broken. Wow, I just unboxed new speakers with broken amps, that's crazy, they're over $2,000 a pair. There should never be such problems! Buy at your own risk!
