Review on ☕ CYETUS CYK7601: All-in-One Espresso Machine for Home Barista - Grinder, Milk Steam Frother, Black by Daniel Pierce

Comparable to other brands.

I have owned a Breville Barista Express for a number of years and absolutely love it. I decided to try this brand as it is very similar to Barista Express. Well, for the most part they're pretty much the same, with one important exception: the Barista Express doesn't have a touchscreen, but this one does to an extent. If you need to program this one, even though you're touching the screen, you have to press in a specific order, which requires guidance and patience. I started by grinding up some of the Lavazza beans we had. I set the grinder to a medium setting of "15" which should be a medium/coarse grind. Didn't manage to get a drinking cup of espresso. After lots of tweaking, I was able to get a drinkable cup with the coffee grinder on the coarsest setting. If you cannot force the water through the grinder, the coffee is too fine. Also, if you have never used one of these machines, THERE IS a learning curve and you would do well to watch a YouTube video. You could potentially use an entire bag of beans to try and get the grind size right. Don't give up and blame the coffee maker once you have it and you'll never want to make coffee any other way ever again. I didn't have milk, but I tested the frother just to see if it would produce steam hot enough to quickly heat cold water. And so it was. This car is also comparable to the car I already own. The drip tray is removable and has a compartment for a portafilter that you don't use and a few other accessories. I offer you this. Stow accessories elsewhere And always remember to remove the drip tray, not only to empty it, but to clean underneath. The steam eventually condenses under the sump, and there is almost always water under the sump that needs cleaning. I'm happy to say that this machine leaves a lot less water in this area than my current machine. TL:DR: This machine is absolutely comparable to well-known brands. The touchscreen is also responsive. The mill works great. You'll need some "practice" to grind properly and make the perfect drink. YouTube will help you with this.
