Review on πŸ—„οΈ NavePoint 15U Network Server Cabinet Rack Enclosure with Glass Door, Lock, and Casters – Wall Mount by Will Murphy

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The stand is decent, the metal is flimsy, there are no instructions. See my comments.

For the price this seems like a good stand. All are right. instructions sucks. The pictures are so small that you can't see where they are. A little guesswork and everything falls into place. It took me an hour to assemble it using just a Phillips screwdriver and the included hex wrench. I am attaching photos so you can see the assembled elements. Only they should take most of your guesswork out. Note that the two large square pieces of the c-challen frame align where the locking slots are closest to the outside. These are the front and back of the device. The cross pieces that hold the vertical rack mounting rails bolt to the top and bottom. Essentially, you place the base on the floor, add two square frames, and add the left and right brackets. Then fix with screws. Hex bolt from bottom to top, nut on the inside of the rack. Then attach the hood, turn the unit on its side, insert the inner brackets and simultaneously screw the hood to the frame and brackets.** *The wheels come last Metal is thin and easy to assemble straighten by hand if bent. Glass is clear, NOT tinted. Fans are quite noisy. No problem in a network cabinet or server room. It's probably annoying when you're out with people. In my pictures I have the rack drawer already installed. It is not included with this item. There's also a UPS that's too big for this rack (2U Cyber Power is too deep). I point to the lock slot in a picture. This applies to the outside of the front and back.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
