Bought for $50 from this seller

Seller's package: JGBike offers you a nice package with a nice set of extra installation bits. At $50 this pack is a steal. For $100, no. Head over to this big nameless online auction and find a set of Shimano MT-200 brakes. Everything in this kit + a pair of Avid G3/HS1 drives (my pick is G3) are available for $52 1 month from China or $66 1 week from US. However, if you can't wait, you can get this package with the Prime in a day.Shimano MT-200 brakes included in this package: They are for hydraulic bike brakes like the Ford Model T is for cars. They're not the best, but I'm willing to bet they can handle any brake for the money. The braking power is exactly on the "good" level; the modulation is very simple, natural and predictable; they have never failed me under heavy use for a year, so I have to rate their reliability as excellent; paired with a new set of Avid G3 drives, they've never squeaked, so they're excellent noise too; They come pre-deflated with great lever feel and a year later it's still not bad; Installation is very easy with a pad spacing that will accommodate all but the thickest shims. But most importantly, the price is unreasonably low. It's so low (at EB) that it doesn't really make sense to pay your local bike shop to bleed those brakes and change the pads. You could buy a whole new set for almost the same money. Sure, it's a bit wasteful, but Shimano has a real winner when it comes to bringing hydraulic brakes to the masses - ultra-affordable and reliable, maintenance-free, just buy another set when they're no longer good enough feel And in true Model-T fashion, you can have it in any colorโ€”as long as that color is black.
