I never say this, but in fact - do not buy!

Are you looking for a powerful smoothie blender, especially for quickly crushing ice. It seemed like a good choice but I was never disappointed. Here's why: 1. The faucet I believe has a design flaw. The pattern has deep grooves at the base, a sort of wavy effect. This means all of the ingredients in your smoothie are fed into these indentations and completely skipped over by the blades. The blades themselves are mounted one above the other. Again, this appears to be a design flaw. They need to be staggered so that each set has a different effect on your mix ingredients. I figured something might have happened along the way and tried to fix it, but they are closely interlocked and both sets of knives are pointing in the same direction. All in all a waste of money. I tried 2 different smoothies. I tried using it to shred Ritz crackers. I even tried using it to slice mushrooms. No matter what I put in, all the ingredients end up in these big indentations and nothing gets mixed up or cut. Even a fresh banana remained unharmed. It's just not suitable!
