Bought these mainly for the 1 inch punch. Useless. The material around the edge is so thick it's like trying to pierce the skin with a butter knife, a very, very thick butter knife. Banged like crazy on a 5 ounce piece of leather (about 1/16 inch thick) and never went through. Now that kick is in the trash. Smaller (1/2 inch or less) punches cut better, but not very well. In addition, the surface of these stamps is very rough. And they're dirty - hardened carbon deposits that you have to brush off with a wire brush or it will contaminate your work. So $23 for 8 shots I could ever use. Look out Emptor, all of you. (Change from 05/08/21 - width 2 mm. My mistake.)
