Review on Stay Alert with First Alert Public Alert Radio featuring S.A.M.E (Discontinued by Manufacturer) by Owen Houser

I purchased this product after a recent (5) tornado storm in our area west of Huntsville, Alabama. I bought this item through Revain, I had it at my house in 4-5 days. I opened it up, read the instructions and went online as instructed to find my state and county and wrote down that number. Then I followed the instructions, put in the batteries, connected it to the wall and made all the necessary settings. Works perfectly! Last storm we had a tornado warning, a flash flood warning, a severe thunderstorm warning. He was alerted and his lights flashed at which time a warning was read. and the next day he passed his tests and read the tests and flashed amber light with no beep. There are many different settings you can use: Flash Floods, Blizzards, Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Freeze Alerts, Dam Monitoring, Iceberg Alerts and many more (82 different ones). There are 2 alarms to wake up in the morning like an alarm clock. It displays the current time and date as well as the day of the week. The alarm clock will set itself to the desired volume if you are woken up by a thunderstorm in the middle of the night. There are 4 headlights; green energy, yellow recommendation, orange clock, red warning. There is also a list button, every time you want to know the weather, press this button and it will tell you the weather in your area. You don't have to wait to find out on your TV. All of this works on battery power when there is no power. The display is backlit so you can see in the dark. (This item can be configured for people with disabilities as well as accessories - strobe lights, pillow vibration modules and remote controlled sirens)
