The plastic from which the lamp is made is very durable and doesn't look cheap, and the metal stand also looks high-quality, not cheap aluminium. You cannot take it off and it also prevents it from accidentally falling. The remote control is a big plus, of course it requires a bit of effort with the buttons as they aren't very responsive, but good nonetheless, you don't have to point directly at the light, just press and it will turn on many similar lights, you may need you a direct reference not to work? Here is this one. I give it a 10/10 just a minor downside the included stand that comes with the table clamp is not very big not a big issue but definitely better if it had a slightly larger great product.
