Almost as advertised. Real deep black. Fits well, although small "bat ears" are left in the upper corners of the chair, but not very noticeable. Much less visible than the tears and tears covered by this pad. Has very good stretch. Very thin; don't yell "This chair is covered with a blanket!". A family member was sitting in a chair and did not notice that a comforter was being carried. It doesn't look cheap at all, but durability is yet to be talked about. I wish I knew about this product before I got rid of the chair and bought 2 others. Tip: If you want to use chair cushions on this cover, be sure to get them with handles. Otherwise, the chair cushions will slip or slide forward when seated.
