I have all the equipment for servicing tires for my business and saw all the positive reviews and thought they would be a safe bet. Boy was I wrong. The problem with customer reviews is that most people give the review right when they buy the item or shortly thereafter. Even China can make something that lasts 3 months, but if you give it a year or maybe two on the outside, it begins to show the quality. (Look at the satellite images of the 3 Gorges Dam when it was built and how much it has moved in ten years. Who do you think built that dam?)I installed new tires on my wife's 2015 CX-5 and at 12,000 miles one on the stems started leaking and was split right at the base, which I discovered when I tried to add pressure because the tire monitoring light was on. At 15,500 miles the TPMS light came back on and when I was checking the pressures to see which one was low, the rest of the original stems all have splits right at the base.Absolute garbage, low quality valve stems. And yes, I lube the stems with silicone spray before I install them. I am very nervous now to think how many of these I have replace for my customers that have failed prematurely and I am responsible for that. (Well, actually it's the dysfunctional engineers in China that authorized the compound of rubber to be used.STAY AWAY FROM THIS SUPPLIER FOR VALVE STEMS, THEY ARE INFERIOR.
