My wife bought a new Highlander and she had an old license plate cover. This one totally shines with the other one she had. We just installed it and it looks great. It seems narrow enough not to block license plate information. My only concern is the grooves on the underside of the cover to hold the license plate. They are at an angle of about 50 degrees and look like they could damage the car's paintwork over time. I didn't want to bend them too much and push the crystals out due to the torque. I'm trying to find a way to populate tabs. The manufacturer recommends folding in the bottom tabs so they don't scratch the paintwork or provide any sort of lining.
