I'm surprised more people don't know about this - this chin bar (as opposed to the standard perforated/mesh unit) significantly reduces the amount of air being blown into the underside of the helmet. . When the temperature usually dropped below 60 degrees I replaced the leather curtain and had no problem staying cold/warm. It should be noted that if you need to fill the helmet with air for cooling, you will have to rely on the top and bottom vents, which only work while riding. I've had a few issues with fogging/overheating inside the helmet when riding hard at low speeds - depending on the ambient temperature I usually flip the visor up for a quick fix.
