While I am grateful to the company that refunded my screen, I cannot recommend them in any way. The screen brightness is reduced by about half, making it unusable outdoors on a sunny day. The touchscreen is unresponsive and it often takes three or four touches to swipe up or down. The black screen has bright spots around the edges. There is no coating on the glass, so your fingerprints and facial oil will just stick to it and smear, sometimes leading to very annoying false clicks. The supplied screen protector does not fit the microphone and home button at the same time. Arguably the most annoying thing is that the screen is almost unusable with polarized sunglasses on. The standard screen was easy to read, although there was a slight flickering effect. This screen is completely black in portrait mode. If you're willing to rule out those flaws, yes, that's a good $25 screen. Installation is easy with the tools they provide you with and the online guides. Just take your time. I'm still looking for a real iPhone screen without having to pay Apple directly.
