Simple, sounds good, for the price!

After searching for a cheap, simple Carplay/Android car device, I ended up at Atoto. and I found this F7 series. Good price and not loaded with Android, just a simple user interface and the ability to do what I need. For this 10.1" I installed it in a 2013 Honda Civic EX, with no navigation. I will say I did not get what was pictured. Instead I have a more modern tablet style head unit instead of a frame got it with physical buttons, not sure if this is a plus or a minus as the plastic screen was kind of sticking out from underneath when it arrived as shown in the picture if this radio survived the upcoming summer in central georgia without the weird plastic I would have been surprised and will probably only buy Atoto devices from now on lol But it's a good device, good weight and has beveled edges that remind me of an iPhone 7. And it makes my car look new inside! I love the look! This device is compact and has a very short double din module on the back.No screen adjustment mechanism just the tablet plugs into a double din.If not with d en brackets ready. It bothered me. Because the unit is so flat and short at the back, I almost didn't have enough room for the screw holes for the brackets, but I managed. But in general I don't see this as a problem with flat or slightly curved strokes. I found this to be perfect for my car in general as the screen doesn't protrude so much that I feel cramped in the steering wheel area. Hooking it up was easy with the right wiring harness. The instructions are clear and well written. Has 2 USB cables on the back. One is for external storage like USB and the other is for Carplay Android Auto. Came with a microphone. At the top of the device on the back is a microSD slot and an Aux cable. I wish it was on the side but that's ok. As for the quality of the display. everything is OK. Looks a bit grainy and cheap. It looks good at night. It's not terrible, but I'm not picky. Although the screen is very bright. It's literally $150-$175, so don't expect an Apple Retina display. Works flawlessly with CarPlay and Android Auto. Better than most cars with a good radio, like my grandma's 2019 Equinox or my dad's 2018 Duramax. I mean zero problems. Loads and loads fast, just what I wanted! To my surprise, this head unit is also louder and sounds MUCH better than my stock Honda unit. I want autolink to work for more than 3 seconds but I see this is an issue with the app and not the radio. I work around at work. Has a decent attitude. You can change the keylight, equalizer, balance, fader, wallpaper and boot logo. etc. Enough to make you! Overall I would recommend this device to anyone looking for an affordable, cheap, decent CarPlay/Android Auto device for a slightly older car. It does what I want, love the look, wish the screen quality and layout was better, but the sound quality makes up for it! I will end up buying an atoto at a higher price and if this lasts until summer I will give it to my cousin or mum!
