I never thought I would need one like this. Last weekend I was visiting a relative who was having problems with his router and wifi. I had to connect directly to hardware, but his laptop wasn't working (literally) and my Google Pixelbook only has WiFi. Since I have to return, I ordered this anchor adapter. And the bottom line is, it works great. I never doubt the quality of Anker products as I have used their portable batteries, cables and chargers with great success over the years. This USB to Ethernet adapter is no exception. I plugged it in, plugged in an ethernet network cable in my office and was instantly connected. It's hard to add to that because it's easy to use and you'll know right away if it's doing the job. The documentation states that it works with all systems (Windows, Mac, Linux). So if you need something portable and reliable, you can't beat this. And now you know it works with ChromeOS on Chromebooks too.
