Came with the blue spring installed from 150-200psi, my 60 gallon compressor takes max. Turned off the electric pressure cut off, ran the compressor to 155psi, then slowly adjusted the setting , until it worked because it was too tight. I let it depressurize until it shut off, reduced the setting a bit, let the compressor refill the tank, and that valve opened exactly 150psi. Lock nut tightened, power cut turned on and checked again. My electric shutoff valve works at 140psi, it works as usual, I turned it off to allow the compressor to keep running and this valve worked as it should at 150psi. Basically everything works as it should. Note the following: It is a feather. So if you turn the adjustment knob all the way, you can fully compress the spring without letting it relax. It's the same as if you just closed the pressure relief valve all the way, so start by adjusting and adjusting just a little to build the pressure. When it bursts, it releases about half the pressure it takes to activate. Mine activates at 150psi, it stays open to depressurize to about 75psi. Yes, it's annoying, but it's not a pressure regulator, it's a safety valve so your tank doesn't explode and you don't die. I don't trust anything completely, so I'll be testing this monthly to make sure it's still working as intended. Will update this review if changes are needed or made.
