Bought this item for my broken CDI on my motorcycle. The item arrived and was installed on a new bike and worked as expected. Drive all day, then park. The next morning I tried to ride a bike. vain. I figured it couldn't be CDI, I only spent $20 and waited about 2 weeks for this new one that has it. After a day of trying to fix the bike myself, I couldn't. Paid a guy to look at it and then quickly realized it had no spark and the problem was the CDI. I was stunned (no pun intended). The guy ended up salvaging the old CDI he had and my new CDI and then connected the wires together to make the faulty CDI work. This could happen 1/10th of the time the item was faulty. At least the next few people today are less likely to get a faulty CDI.
