on pneumatic models. It's pretty much light duty; and that makes it sooooo handy for my immediate purpose. I use it to sand down critical areas on my small 3D wood sculptures. It works very well but is a little louder than the Dremel MotoTool. Its small, narrow grinding surface gives the impression that you are grinding with an "electric finger". (very easy to use) (feels very natural) (makes loops almost easy). The variable speed setting on this is a fantastic feature. Definitely recommend this one for woodworking projects. However for tough jobs like steel and other "serious metal work" I would probably recommend the Air-Sander (IMO).
