I live in Texas and we have very cold winters and the material is not very thick. It's a little thicker than a t-shirt. It is true to size. I'm small so I could wear a shirt over that and still have a lot of options. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the flash was gold and not silver like the pictures. I hate gold in general. Rschunimagu. In general, a good Aztec sweater costs $20.
