I would definitely go up a size if you want a comfy sweatshirt. If you want it a little more fitted, take your normal size. It sits on my figure and I don't mind wearing nothing underneath. But if I wanted to wear a thin t-shirt underneath, I'd buy a big one. The collar also dangles a bit, but that doesn't bother me. As other reviewers have pointed out, this isn't a bulky sweatshirt - it's somewhere between a lightweight sweatshirt and a heavyweight long sleeve shirt. The knitted material is dense enough not to sit on the figure at all - this is exactly what I was looking for. I'm 5'5, 165lbs, D cup - I usually wear a medium sized top but based on the reviews I ordered a size up and I love it. The medium would probably fit as well, but I would have preferred it to be a bit larger.

I live in Texas and we have very cold winters and the material is not very thick. It's a little thicker than a t-shirt. It is true to size. I'm small so I could wear a shirt over that and still have a lot of options. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the flash was gold and not silver like the pictures. I hate gold in general.
