Update the dog completely destroyed it. The carabiner on one end was totally inadequate, aluminum? The wire was short and couldn't last even a month with my 120kg puppy. She destroyed the wire at the end (where the fishing line wraps around a tree with a loop) and the slider along with the biner. Definitely not up to the challenge of a big dog. I bought a 200ft version of this, what I got was maybe 100ft. The box says 200 feet but the line is definitely NOT 200 feet. I contacted the seller but never got a reply which is why I gave it such a bad rating. I went ahead and installed it. It was easy enough to install and seems sturdy enough for my one year old 120 lb Anatolian mixed breed dog. I would suggest that since you are attaching one locking carabiner to one end, attach the other to the other end. Apart from the insufficient length and lack of communication with the seller, this appears to be a good product.
